I can't believe

That the weekend is already over. I guess this has been a boring weekend. My knee, foot and hips have all hurt. Don't know what's up...except my age!

Watched my favorite driver do pretty good yesterday. 6th place. Not bad...a bunch of drivers finished worse! And he looked so cute with his monkey!

Took the dogs to the vet Friday. The older dog will be 13 this year. He has arthritis, but is doing pretty good. The younger is 8; she is antisocial. Was abused before we got her, so she acts like she is mean. Calms down pretty quick though. They behaved, so they got to go to PetSmart and pick out treats.

Why do people think that growing roses is difficult? We trim ours, water them...and they grow like crazy. We have three bushes that are over 8 feet tall, two that are about 6, two that are about 5 and the one puny one that is about 3 feet tall. That doesn't include the miniature that someone thought was dead and gave me! The only problem is that they do get aphids. We don't like to spray them...the birds come to eat the bugs! That is, if the neighbor cats stay away.

I am so glad that the rain has stopped. Even if it means that the hot weather is here. I can deal with the hot weather. I just got so tired of gray! If it wasn't foggy, it was raining.

Wanted to go to Yosemite this weekend. Probably the last good time to go before it really gets crowded and becomes Disneyland North. That is what I call it in the summertime! When you get so many people in such a small place, what else can it be...unless it's the mall the day after Thanksgiving!

There are some beautiful places nearby. I need to go see Kings Canyon again. Haven't been there in a couple of years. I guess I'll check to see if the road is open into the canyon. It's an amazing place. Granite walls lean over the road...and the 18 inch rock wall is between the road and space...for over a thousand feet in places!

Guess that is it for today. I need to get ready for that four letter word that so many detest...WORK!
