Been a long time...

It's been a long time since I wrote anything! I have been so busy at work, that I am too tired when I get home to think of anything to write. Instead of sitting at the computer, I am doing other things to rest and relax.

Went to Yosemite again...wow! We camped out for four days. The first day must have been a monsoon instead of a rainstorm...we actually rented a cabin because we were soaked and the tent was flooded. The waterfalls were wonderous (and thunderous!) that first week of May. It's supposed to be even better now, but there will be too many people for me to enjoy the sights of the park. Maybe we can check out some of the falls closer to home next weekend. I like to stay home on the holidays.

Went to a concert at one of the local casinos...the sound system was terrible. Loud roaring from the speakers and lots of feedback from the microphone. I felt like I had been ripped off...and not from the gambling. My friends enjoyed seeing one of their favorite singers and they still complained about the way the concert was done. Thumbs down to EMC. DY performed a lot of songs and deserved a better system.

We are getting ready to do some remodeling to the house. Having French doors installed in the living room. It will look good...and we will be able to open the door easier.

My dog Boots gave me a scare last week. He was outside and when he went to get up, he stumbled like he was drunk. I was afraid he had suffered a stroke. He didn't seem to be in any pain. The next morning he moved slow...until he saw the neighbor's cat and ran after it to chase it out of the yard. Took him to the vet...he was diagnosed with "Old dog vestibular syndrome". Vet said he would be fine in about two weeks. He is doing better each day. He is almost 12 years old and in good health.

I can't think of anything else to write. Hopefully I won't wait over a month to write again. I used to do the same thing with my journal...daily to yearly!
