Okay...I think!

Well, I don't have the woes as bad. I have to admit that I am in pain, though. I don't want to take the narcotic pain pills, but I think I'm going to have to, at least on therapy days. I'm supposed to be exercising my shoulder, but can't take the sling off by myself; I'm at home by myself because my sweetie is off fighting a fire. When he gets home I will have to exercise good!

I kind of wanted to buy a lotto ticket for tonight--with the run of bad luck we have had recently, it's tme for some good luck! The transmission went out on our SUV and the washer broke--both this week. Like I said, it's time for some good luck!

Woe is me...

I have a nasty case of the woes and feeling sorry for myself. I tore my rotator cuff and had to have surgery. It's the pits. Can't do anything! Can't drive...I can't fasten my seatbelt by myself; even if I want to drive one handed. Can't clean house...can't bend over to pick stuff up. Having trouble sleeping because the sling is a pain in the neck. Can't take pictures...can't even put the camera on a tripod one-handed. I can't even use the keyboard much...I'm a good typist with two hands, not one. Like I said, I've got a nasty case of the woes--even if I do know that I have so much to be grateful for!

I have a torn rotator cuff and believe me, it hurts! I am going to be having surgery on it in a few days. I'm happy that I will be out of pain after the surgery recovery time. I figure that I will have some pain with it, but not like it has been for the last few months. Yikes! I haven't even felt like taking pictures for the last 2 weeks...and this has been the most beautiful spring!

Ouch!!!!

My shoulder is hurting...I have a torn rotator cuff. I'm going to have surgery on it in a few weeks. It's bumming me out...not only the pain, but all the things I can't do that I normally do. Just reaching for something can double me over in pain. The wildflower display around here has been awesome...I don't feel like taking any photos. Darn it! Okay, I'm done feeling sorry for myself...for the time being anyhow!

Finally!!!

It's Nascar time again!!!! So what if my driver didn't win last night! He raced a good race and placed great. Especially in a new car. Congrats to them!!

I have been wanting to go take some pictures of some birds not far from my home. The reason I haven't? A bum shoulder has kept me home and treating it. I don't feel like carrying the tripods, cameras, etc. that I need to carry about 1/4 to 1/2 mile to get the photos I want. The birds will be taking off soon, too. Also, I haven't made it out to the wildlands about 40 miles away to find the sandhill cranes. Darn it!!! Next year...gives me something to "shoot" for!

It was months and months! I keep forgetting about blogging. Must be that I don't have much to say. At least, not where there is a written copy of it!!

Wow!

I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted! It's like I went to sleep in December and woke up in August! Maybe the aliens had me. I wonder if it will be months before I post again???
